Stacking The Shelves #46: I Might Have a NetGalley Addiction, Just Saying

Posted October 12th, 2013 in Uncategorized / 61 comments

Stacking The Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual.
For Review:
I have to get my Urban Fantasy on!
Sexy McSexerten!
I don’t know why but I really like this cover.

You guys need to read the blurb for this one. Sounds so interesting.

Have you read any of these books before? Which one should I read first? What did you get this week?

I’m looking forward to your review of Alienated. I thought it was only okay. Far From You sounds awesome — I got that one too!

  2. Jessica@a GREAT read

Heehee! Yeah, getting addicted to Netgalley can be unhealthy! Nice reads though! Hope you enjoy them all!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

The title of the post made me laugh. I understand how that could happen.

The books look great, can’t wait to read you reviews. 🙂

Some good looking titles and beautiful covers. Can’t wait to read your reviews to find out which ones I need to track down 🙂

Looking forward to your review of Alienated- I wanted that one but got denied. I blame my 18% review ratio! I didn’t know how NetGalley works at first and just clicked away – working to fix that now, which is why I haven’t requested The Curse Keepers yet. I really want that one, but want to wait until I can (1) have a chance of actually getting it and (2) read it in a reasonable amount of time. Waiting sucks!! LOL

I just finished Alienated and will be posting my review tomorrow. I ended up absolutely loving it and it’s the first book I’ve read this year and rated a 5/5 since January, so I really hope you enjoy that one. I was so sure I would really dislike it and was pleasantly surprised. My STS

I haven’t read any of these, but I have read one of Denise Grover Swank’s NA contemporaries (After Math) and enjoyed it.

    Happy reading!

I really like the Alienated cover. Very different with so much story-telling going on. I also think that Sekret looks like one that should be like nothing you’ve read before. It’s pretty crazy with the historical aspect mixed with the dystopian. I really hope you enjoy! Jaclyn @ JC’s Book Haven.

I don’t know any of those books, but they look interesting. I’ve banned myself from Netgalley for now until I catch up on the pile of books in my room that need reading.

I’ve seen a lot of bloggers who also got Alienated but I don’t think I’m gonna run now to put in a request in NG. It’s under Disney Hyperion right? Too bad, Disney really hates me. Hahaha.

I also saw An Empty Seckret in NG but after MacMillan disapproved my request for Tin Star, I don’t think I have the courage to request it.

As for your other books, I haven’t heard about any of them. But please enjoy them.

    Have fun reading.
