Seriously, Shallow Graves sounds messed up! The Great Hunt has that arranged marriage thing going on that I am into right now.

cover revenge and the wild by michelle modesto cover shade me by jennifer brown

Revenge and the Wild is obviously about a girl getting revenge in the wild west, who doesn’t want to read about that? Shade Me is about a girl who sees the world in colors. Awesomesauce!

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week:

The family vacation is over! I can finally breath, disinfect everything, and relax. Back to looking for a job. I am having so much fun with my sewing machine. Now that I know how to use it, I am sewing throw pillows like crazy. I will take a picture of a few when I get a chance and share with you girls. My mom bought me some zombie and haunted graveyard material the other day, now those are going to be awesome pillows!

I have a sewing machine but still don’t know how to use it – a shame, my mother used to do this for a living ! Have fun with your new pillows and your awesome new books ^^

There is something about Arranged Marriage tropes I just love…and I don’t even know why. Maybe seeing two people that are complete strangers, build a life together and fall in love along the way. Hope you enjoy The Great Hunt!

I’ve been planning a quilt for ages and have been collecting material for it. One of the things I really need is zombie material so I’m jealous! I’ve never been great with sewing so I’m in dread of operating a sewing machine but I think I need to get one! I have no clue when I’ll ever get this project started, never mind finished! Good luck with your sewing!

I so want to sew a quilt one day. That’s mainly what my aunt dews. You should just go do it one day, for no reason. Just having the urge is enough for me.

  4. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oooh nice! I am sooo excited for The Great Hunt! Hoping it lives up to my expectations whenever I get to read it. Likely around release day…if I’m lucky! LOL!

    Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

Shade Me sounds interesting, I know there is a condition where some people can not just see colors like we can, but their senses are linked, so they can “taste” words or music may have color’s. Is that what the book is about?

    • Jennifer Bielman

OMG, really? that’s pretty cool. I am not sure if the book is like that, I guess I will see.

      • Nathan

Yes, it is called Synesthesia. It is more common for people with it to see colours for words or music. I find this interesting.

Oh, I forgot to say good luck with the sewing. You have some interesting tastes, zombies and haunted graveyards, I don’t think I have seen fabric with those designs.

These all look fabulous but I’ve already heard and see great things about The Great Hunt, I’m so excited to get to it!
    Congrats on all the books!
