Pop Goes the Weasel is the mystery book I have been looking for. I need to change it up. I have been thinking I need to go back to historical romance for a bit too and Some Like It Scot sounded the best.

I am all about the threesomes (literary speaking) right now, so I am going to try The Bite of Winter. I know, I’m naughty. 🙂 Darkest Misery is the fourth book of a UF series I have been enjoying. Hope it is as good as the rest.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week:

I have quite a few completed job applications out in the universe right now, and I keep adding to them every day. All I need is one to catch. I feel optimistic. I had some people try to kick me while I’m down this week, but I am laughing it off. People like that aren’t worth my time. It won’t change who I am, it just shows who they are.

Look at the new trailer I just found today. I am so freaking excited!!!

It always amazes me how people like to make themselves feel big by trying to put down someone else. It really bugs me! You are totally right-these people are not worth your time and you are worth ten of them! Good luck with the job application…out there is the right employer who will value you for who you are. It’s just a matter of finding them. Fingers crossed for you!

Awwww, thanks. What sucks was one of them was my friend for over 10 years. But I can’t be around negative people anymore.

I am super excited to read Some Like It Scot, I have had it on my nook for quite a while now, but I do need to read it. Hopefully over the next month. Hope you enjoy it, I love this author.

  3. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Oh dude!! Daniel Radcliffe in a Frankenstein movie?! How am I just hearing about this? LOL! Definitely might have to see that one!

And ugh…job hunts. As you know I was just doing all that myself and literally just got one at the end of last week. It will happen. As my family told me, it just takes one yes! So yes, just apply to anything and everything you feel qualified for or would like to do. And basically ignore all the aholes trying to bring you down! Good luck!

And now onto the books…these are pretty much new to me ones! LOL! But I do hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

I know!!! I was surprised I hadn’t heard of it until now. Congrats on the job again. I am where you were at a couple weeks ago. Let’s hope I am as successful as you.

Daniel Radcliff, I love it! I want to see this one too!

Ad for people trying to bring you down, you don’t need those type of people in your life. Good for you for just laughing it off, something that I know isn’t easy to do!
Still keeping my fingers crossed for you that something will come up with all the applications you have out and someone will bite. 😉

    • Jennifer Bielman

Thanks. I hope I can get at least one hooked. I have applied to soooo many places and have not got a call yet.

Sucks about people being rude/mean. Some people feel the need to put others down. Those people are so toxic. You’re better off without them.

I’ve always skipped over the Misery series, but I picked up the first book on your rec. *cross-fingers*

Nice haul! Happy Reading! And good luck with the job hunt!

    • Jennifer Bielman

They are toxic. I try be friends with people even when they have big faults. But then they turn on me and I can see why they lose so many friends.

You will get that job! They’d be dumb not to hire you!

thanks for sharing the trailer, I haven’t seen that and I am excited for it now as well.

  7. Christy

Oh, hell yeah. That movie looks good! You got a nice variety of books, and can’t go wrong with a threesome. 😉 Fuck the haters, and hope the job hunting gets you something soon.

I haven’t read any of the books you picked. I am currently reading Bitten by Kelley Armstrong and The Bee’s by Laline Paull. If you ever wondered why the society of a bee hive is like Laline Paull has it down. Just for the record it is at least an YA book, not exactly children. A Christmas present I am getting at. As for Bitten, it is the bases for the TV show by the same name- now to see what the differences between the TV show and book are. As for people who like to make you feel small so they feel big, your right just ignore them. Their not worth your time. Hope the job search goes well.

    • Jennifer Bielman

Oooh, Bitten is goooooood! OMG, there is a Bitten TV show? Like it’s on now!?

      • Nathan

Yes, there is a Bitten TV show on. The third season will probably start at the beginning of Feb. You can find it then on Space channel 46. You could try the library for the first two seasons but they are popular, so best of luck getting them before the third season starts. I wasn’t a big werewolf-horror watcher before, but I still love Bitten, I haven’t missed an episode. I am sure you will love it, too.

I hope these new books of yours! I have the book Frankenstein so it really is a matter of reading it now! Oh, and I just love the trailer to Frankenstein! Looking forward to that movie now 😀
