Everything, Everything has a really, really interesting concept. You gotta check it out.

It’s been forever since I read a dystopian, so I am excited to try The Scorpion Rules.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Life This Week

I am coming up to the final week of school. I will show you guys the beer bottle design I picked pretty soon. Almost done with it. I liked the idea but for some reasonย I could never get everything looking the way I wanted. Like my imagination just stop working. It’s not my best work but still pretty good.

Now that school is over, I am looking for a full time job right now. I have a few prospects but I feel a little lost right now because I’ve been down this road before and was unemployed for over 2 years. I hope that doesn’t happen this time. I love doing a lot of different things but I never seem to be picked for those jobs. ๐Ÿ™ All I know is I can’t keep living off part time jobs and freelance work. I want to feel safe and secure once in my life.

I read the first of the Owl books a few months back-I liked the idea and the MC but the friend and love interest both annoyed me too much to keep reading, which was a pity. Hope you get on better with this series!

I was head over heels in love with the first Owl book. Got me the Netgalley ARC for book 2 (this one) yesterday, and gonna dig in soon.
Looking forward to your review on No Kissing Allowed. =)

  3. Jessica @ a GREAT read

OOoh nice! Those are all new to me but look intriguing by those covers! Hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

Great haul! The Scorpion Rules looks great. I have the first Owl book, but didn’t read it yet. I’ll have to dig it out. Happy Reading!

Good luck on the job hunt, too!

Have you read Owl and the Japanese Circus? I plan to read it soon since everyone seems to like it. Ohhh I want to see what you did for your project. Maybe you can get a full-time job working for a beer company. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Owl and the City of Angels and Scorpion Rules both look really good. I’ve read the blurbs and I’m interested in what you have to say about them. I could definitely use to add a new UF series to my list and I’ve read very few dystopians though I’ve really enjoyed the ones I have read.

Dystopians can only be read when you really, really feel like them.

oh, girl, I feel ya. With the Mister’s job, we move every few years or so. So, pretty much I either don’t work and pretty much am a housewife, and sometimes I snag a small job that is temporary. It’s definitely stressful when you think about the long haul. I hope you find something permanent that you love doing. <3

Ugh, I would hate to try to find a new job every few years. I have the worst luck with finding jobs, but once I have them my bosses never want me to leave. lol

Well, another week gone. Sounds like you had lots of work coming to a close too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Have a good one this week.

Good luck looking for a job! I know how not fun that can be. Don’t get discouraged though, you will find something great! ๐Ÿ™‚ And I am going to check out your review of no kissing allowed after this. I liked it but I also had some issues with it, so I am excited to see what you think of it.

I hope you enjoy these pretties ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Reading!
