I am LOVING this series. Badass assassins unite! Just finished the second book, now on to The Swan and the Jackal.

Gotta love a book about dreams. So excited for Dreamland.

Walk on Earth a Stranger is an odd sounding one. I almost didn’t request it but something about it kept calling to me.

cover ash and bramble by sarah prineas cover dumplin by julie murphy

Ash and Bramble is a retelling of Cinderella with a twist.

Who doesn’t love a story about an empowered chubby girl? Excited for Dumplin’.

I am obsessed with a certain song this week. I have listened to it 10 times just tonight while going through my email. It’s the intro song for iZombie. The show is dorky and full of bad acting but I LOVE it!

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

None of these books are personally familiar to me but I have seen some good reviews for a few of them. Hopefully you’ll love them all! Enjoy your books!

I’m excited for Ash & Bramble! The Swan and the Jackal looks amazing and I must start the series soon. Enjoy your books!

  3. Jessica @ a GREAT read

OOoh nice! I am anxious for Ash & Bramble. Didn’t get lucky with EW so I’ll wait until it releases, as long as reviews lead me to think it’s for me! LOL! I love a good fairytale retelling or just a fairytale-esque kind of of read!

And oh, I know what you mean about the opening song to iZombie! I like it too! 😉

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!

    Have a GREAT day!

HA! iZombie was something that looked bad in the trailer but I was still curious about it. We don’t have cable so I haven’t seen the show yet and probably won’t unless it makes it’s way to Netflix. :\ Glad that you’re enjoying the show though.

I haven’t read the J.A. Redmerski series yet. Ashes and Brambles looks interesting, i was on the fence about it. I am not just obsessed with the iZombie song, but the show too! It’s brilliant!

I know what you mean about Walk on Earth I have almost grabbed it numerous times. Something keeps calling to me as well but so far I have resisted!
Congrats on all the great books and I love iZombie! One of my new favorite shows!!

Eep, I’ve been putting off reading In the Company of Killers. D: Hope you love The Swan and the Jackal! Harper went crazy on EW and I downloaded the same titles you did. 😉

  9. Caro @ The Book Rogue

I still have to read The Edge of Never, but I heard only good things about Redmerski! And I’m excited for Ash & Bramble. Nice additions this week, I happy reading! =)

Ahh some of these books I also got recently and am curious about! I am all about dreams in books so of course I wanted Dreamland as well! And as for Walk on Earth a Stranger, it sounded interesting to me, so I took a chance. I hope we both enjoy them!

Oh good additions this week. 🙂

I’ve been watching iZombie as well. It’s so corny it’s entertaining. lol. It’s a light watch, nothing to heavy. Which is good for early in the week. lol.

    Have a good week!

The Swan and the Jackal was sooo good! It did not end at all how I expected! I need to get the next book soon, because this series is amazing. 😀
