I am sooooooooooo excited for The Diabolic. I have only heard good things. When I got approved I jumped for joy. I downloaded it right away, obviously. I then checked my Kindle and realized it never downloaded. So I went to my Kindle Content on Amazon to re-download it, not there. And it’s archived now. So now I want to punch something!!!! WTF happen??? I am so bummed. I have to buy it now, which is fine, but it’s so nice to get free books and actually have money going into my savings. lol. So, yeah, I technically don’t have this book right now, though I should, but I will get it. LOL, what an odd STS this week.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week

Since I last did a STS I saw two movies. Inferno was really good. I love Tom Hanks in anything. He’s so awesome. Then I saw Jack Reacher : Never Go Back. So good. Tom Cruise is a bit odd but I love him as an actor. And the Jack Reacher character is so my type of action hero: a little dead inside and super calm as he kicks your ass.

That doesn’t seem fair! You were approved for it and it didn’t download so that’s not your fault! GAH technology!!! I hope you can get to read it soon and that you enjoy it when you do.

Oh man, I hate that. I have that problem at times with my Kindle as well. Sometimes I go into my IPAD app for my Kindle and it works fine, but on the Kindle no…weird. I just hate when things don’t go your way. Oh well.

It’s so random and rare that I never think to check then it’s too late.

I had a problem like this after we changed our Shaw plan to faster internet. It turned out I needed to reactivate my wi fi. After I did that and downloaded the book from my archive on the computer to my kindle, things were golden.
I got a few books like A Magical Shift by Vella Doy and Claimed by her mates by Grace Goodwin. I took out a graphic novel from the library Vampire Knights Vol 2.
We captured the stay cat that has been hanging around our house. We thought he was someones else cat. He will likely be nurtured and may find a good home soon.

  4. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Ugh. Hate when those things happen! Usually why I try to download the book once I get approved for it. Because stuff like this might happen. Sorry to hear that. I’ve been hearing good things about this one too! It’s on my wishlist and I hope to read it one day! LOL! Hope you enjoy it once you do read it!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

I did download it right away, it just never made it to the kindle for some reason. So annoying.

I’ve had that happen before. Got an email that I was approved for a book I’d been dying to read, zipped right over the NG to download it, only to find out that the book had already been archived. :'( I don’t know how they can approve a DL if the book has already been archived and pulled from the site. It was such a tease.
