Wild Embrace was a given because, well, Nalini Singh. Done deal. Tell Me a Story was a whim grab. The blurb got me with ‘bookstore owner’ and ‘story brothel.’ It knew my weaknesses.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week

I am so freaking exhausted. My insomnia is rearing its ugly head. I am getting no sleep at all. I could barely keep my eyes open at work the whole week. Even with it being the weekend, I still can’t sleep. SUCKS! No new movies yet. I might see Ghostbusters this weekend. Oh, I got another Nephew last weekend. His name is Owen. He’s adorbs. All looks well and everyone is excited. Especially his big brother. He loves his new little brother.

Your nephew is cute. It is good to hear he is well. To try to improve your sleep, try no screen time the last few hours before bed. Hope that helps.

Now I just have to stop reading before bed too. That keeps me up too.

Sorry, no suggestions for imsomnia. I have periodic bouts of it myself and just suffer through it. I hate it, because I don’t even feel like watching TV, blogging or reading, even though I’m up all night. Imagine what I could get done…if…Hang in there and the baby is adorable.

That’s what sucks, even though I am up, I don’t feel like doing anything either.

Aw, he’s so cute! I have a five week old new niece, but I haven’t met her yet as she lives across the U.S. from me. Sigh.

I’m sorry you haven’t been sleeping well! That’s never fun. I hope that changes soon.

Having family far sucks. My nephew is a few states away so it will be some time before I meet him.

Oh my goodness, he is so cute and so sweet! Congratulations so much to the couple and to you for having a new nephew! I am sorry to hear about the bad sleeping as well. I know how that feels so I hope you can get a good nights sleep soon.

A baaaaaaby! Congrats to you and the family. If you live close enough, you could do the night feeding since you have insomnia. 😀 Seriously, though, hope you can get some sleep.

Too cute! It’s so good that his brother is excited. I know that’s not always the case, and it sure helps when they love having a new baby around. I have trouble sleeping as well. I’m usually up late and then have to get up early in the morning. I hope you get some rest soon!

I really hate being tired at work. That is the worst part.

  7. Melissa (My World...in words and pages)

Awww. Congrats on the new nephew. 🙂

I do hope this week goes a little better for you on sleeping. Take care!

I have sympathy for you with the insomnia. I’ve suffered on and off with that since I was 15 and it is a miserable thing. It doesn’t help when people keep saying ‘just get into a regular sleeping pattern’ GRRR! Fingers crossed that this bout ends soon.

I know, most stuff doesn’t work. It just depends on the person.
