I am into special power books right now so Emerge: The Awakening sounded pretty dang good. Holding Smoke is different from what I read but the concept is kinda awesome sounding.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week

I had a decent week. It went by pretty fast. I am going to the Long Beach Flea Market this weekend. I am so freaking excited. I am obsessed with the Flea Market Flip show and I always wanted to go to one of the flea markets from the show. I love me some shabby chic, distressed furniture so I hope to find some interesting pieces, though I have no room for anything. Oh well.

  1. Jessica @ a GREAT read

Ooh nice! The first is totally new to me but sounds pretty awesome! Totally intrigued with Holding Smoke! I loved Elle’s Nearly books and while I keep hoping for a third one, this new story does sound rather awesome too! Will definitely look forward to your review!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

Holding Smoke sounds like something I would like. Ahh, I like the flea market down there. At least the ones I been to. They’re pretty different than those here. Have fun!

I hope you found some furniture (small enough that you have room for it) yesterday, Jennifer πŸ™‚
Your new books look really good, I can’t wait to see what you think of Holding Smoke.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.

I hope you enjoy your new books and find something small (but wonderful) at the flea market. Emerge: the Awaking sounds interesting. Have a great week.

Those books look so good! I love the covers and Emerge appears so promising… like the heroine is really going to know how to kick some butt in particular.

  6. Jaclyn Canada

Both of these look interesting to me! I haven’t seen Emerge before, but I’m liking that cover and am interested to see what you think of it. I hope the flea market trip was a fun time πŸ˜€
