The Good
So we start off where Command Me ends. Clara is heartbroken from her breakup with Prince Alexander. But no matter how much they hurt each other, they can’t stay away from one another. Their connection is too intense, too all-consuming to let others keep them apart. But that doesn’t stop the bad people from trying. The royal family, ex-lovers, paparazzi, all of them continue to try to pull these two apart, but Alex and Clara are finally at a strong point in their relationship.
Clara finally opens herself up and is willing to stand with Alex no matter what. Her life is changing dramatically, but she knows it’s worth it to be with Alexander. She really did grow from their time apart, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first. She pushes Alex, keeps him balanced and focused on what’s important.
Alex is finally making his happiness more important than his family obligations. I was excited to get Alex’s POV this time. He really is committed to Clara, but he is his own worst enemy. His doubts and guilt eat at him. But Clara always brings him back around.
So much happens!!!! I was shocked to see Clara’s past rear it’s ugly head and cause trouble. Then Pepper is up to her old tricks, but Clara is ready for her. Then the ending was heart melting. All is not perfect, but it’s getting there.
The Bad
There are times when Alexander is not my fav. His douche decisions irk me.
The Snuggly
So fucking hot! The sex in this book and in the series is the best. It’s rough, raw, and intense. The passion between these two is off the charts. I am obsessed with them!!! So much sex but I don’t think it’s too overdone.
Final Thoughts
I need the next book NOW! I just love this series. It’s a way better version of Fifty Shades of Grey. I kinda want to give it 5 stars. I might later. Very, highly recommended.
