Running for his life, he takes her along for the ride….

Werewolf Levi Harris has a habit of going off half-cocked and getting into trouble. But this time, the trouble just might prove fatal. He’s stolen a trove of information from a powerful vampire mafia network, and they won’t rest until they get it back—and get revenge. His only chance of survival is to extract the information and put it to use before the bad guys catch up with him.

Curvy bombshell Harper Bailey is a good girl with a weak spot for bad boys. When Levi appears, she thinks her dreams have just rolled up on the back of a motorcycle. Little does she know that he’s about to hijack her car and take her straight into the crossfire. But Levi himself might just prove the greatest danger of all….

At A Glance

Fast action and hot chemistry.

The Good

Despite how short this enovella was, it was jammed packed with action, sex, and an interesting plot. But it was Levi and Harper who made this book. Levi was sexy, dangerous, and charming. Harper was impulsive, horny, and adventurous. Together, they blew this book apart. I loved the instant chemistry and heat between these too. I was laughing as they bantered back and forth while dealing with this crazy situation with amazing calm. Seriously, I loved how Harper dealt with Levi stealing her car. Good for her!

I am interested to see where this story goes. Shit is going down. Levi has really pissed off some bad people and they don’t plan to let him live for long, and now Harper is in danger too. Of course, the book ends right when things are getting really interesting. But hey, it had its intended effect. I want part 2 bad!

The Bad

Super short. This is part one of a serial. Serials are not my favorite.

The Snuggly

The sex was hot and spontaneous. Levi and Harper have no shame, which was awesome. They both knew what they wanted and took it without a second thought.

Final Thoughts

Short but hot! If you are looking for fast-paced action and great sexual chemistry, then this is the book for you. Recommended.

Quotes

“I’m going to screw you so hard against the hood of your car that you’ll never be able to look at it again without thinking of me,” he promised.

She laughed unsteadily, believing him. “That’s a tall order. You don’t even know that you’re the first.”

“I’ll be the only one that matters, after this.”

I have a love hate with serials. I loath paying 3.00 for 69 page novellas. They end up costing more than a hardcover novel. I do like the ones where you pay 3.00 and each week a new installment appears. I want to read this but may wait to see.

Yeah, I usually like to wait for the whole novel to comes out before I buy it. At least this one was free. 🙂

Ah, the dreaded serial. This actually sounds pretty fun, especially Harper, but I’ll wait to see if all installments will eventually be put together

I refuse to read serials because I’m not big on novellas to begin with, but more often than not this particular format is overpriced to boot. Granted, it sounds like Black managed to squeeze in a lot in only 50 pages, and I LOVE werewolves, but I’ll wait until all of the episodes have been released.

Yeah, it does end up being pricey. I only got this one because it was free at the time.

“You don’t even know that you’re the first”, good answer lol ! I’ll be watching what you think of the next episodes. I don’t like serials much either, I wait lazily until they’re all published to get the ones I want. Thanks for sharing ! And testing the waters 😉
