Sometimes I just want to talk about random crap. No theme, no rules, just…whatever. That’s what I Do What I Want posts come in. This is where I…well, do whatever the hell I want. Enjoy…and be very afraid.

I LOVE my summer TV shows. Though my favs often change, I really get into a few shows every season. I wanted to share my top 6 shows I would die over if my DVR didn’t record them.

I love cooking shows. I mean an obsession kind of love. Master Chef is one of my favorites because Gordon Ramsay is the shit! He is so perfect in every way, even when he is saying ‘fuck’ for every 5th word. But he does that more on Hell’s Kitchen, which is also an awesome show. I actually met a contestant from last season’s Hell’s Kitchen, Rochelle, who was my favorite on the show. She works at our Costco. It was freaking surreal! Sucks she is not doing something more glamorous but lucky me to have met her.

Who doesn’t love watching artists paint on basically nude bodies? No one, that’s who! I freak out sometimes with how talented these artists are and how creative they can get with new challenges every week. This week’s challenge was Futuristic Steampunk.

The season finale is coming this week. Wayward Pines was only a 10 episode special which I loved because it’s short enough to not get boring but long enough to get a good story. It’s freaking creepy and a total mind-fuck.

This is a show about vampires, but not the average vamps we are use to. It feels totally legit, like this could happen to us next week. We get science, politics, and fighting which makes it feel well-rounded compared to a lot of supernatural shows out there.

I will admit it, I have watched a Bachelor or two in my day. So when I saw Unreal coming out and the premise being about the behind the scenes drama of a Bachelor type show, I was intrigued. Then I watched it and had a mind explosion all over the family room! This show is wrong in all the right ways. These people are so horrible you can’t turn away. I get truly shocked every week.

I watch all of the Real Housewives shows. It’s my huge guilty pleasure. I know, reality shows suck, but I love these. So much drama, so many fights, so many rich bitches! It’s amazing. The New York one is my favorite by far. These girls never fail to entertain. And Bethenny is back. Woohoo!

Okay the pic fro The Strain is so creepy and makes me both want to cringe and totally watch the show! I think I will have to check it out.

I have been loving Wayward Pines too! I can’t believe it is almost over but like you, I’ve been loving that it is only ten episodes long.

My other totally guilty, totally ridiculous summer show is Teen Wolf. I am totally hooked on it and can’t stop watching it.

    • Angel

I’m addicted to Teen Wolf too! Even if the first two seasons aren’t even that mindblowing haha. It’s just soooo addicting!

    • Jennifer Bielman

I need to check out Teen Wolf because everything is loving it.

OMG, Wayward Pines!!!! How did you like the finale?

      • kindlemom1

Definitely do, it is very addicting, cheesy at times even but in a weird good way. Hard to explain. The first season is definitely the weakest but each season gets better.

I haven’t watched it yet! I have it recorded, I just need to get to it. Was it fabulous?

        • Jennifer Bielman

OMG, I am not even going to say anything. All I know is that I don’t know what I think. lol

I watch The Strain sometimes, but haven’t really gotten into it. Makes my flesh crawl! I love Gordon Ramsay too. I could listen to him talk for hours. Did I mention I have a thing for accents? Because I do, real bad. I’m waiting for my Fall lineup: Sleepy Hollow, Gotham, Arrow, Supernatural, Scandal & Grey’s Anatomy.

    • Jennifer Bielman

It is really creepy to watch The strain
Oh yes, Gordon and his accent. The best!
      I LOVE Supernatural!

Wayward Pines just ended and I still want to watch it all again.

I got rid of cable over a year ago so I’m kind of out of the loop. I have watched and enjoyed Master Chef Junior. So I’m sure I’d enjoy the more adult version as well. It’s just mind boggling to watch these tiny kids come out with master pieces. I think when I was their age I was still ruining stuff in my Easy Bake Oven.

    • Jennifer Bielman

I love MC junior too. But I feel so bad when the kids get eliminated.

  4. Christy

I thought about doing a post like this, but I’m lazy with it. lol. The only show of yours I’ve watched is The Strain. Well, last season anyway. I wanted to read the second book before watching this one. Are you watching Big Brother? I’ve only watched a few episodes without paying full attention, so I don’t really know what’s going on. I do know that dentist guy is annoying a fuck.

    • Jennifer Bielman

LOL, yup, watching Big Brother. I actually just bought the live feeds because so much shit is going down!!! the dentist, Johnny Mac, was annoying at first but he is my fav now. He is hilarious.

  5. Braine Talk Supe

How did I miss Wayward Pines?!?! I hope it’s On Demand… also hi5 for Real Housewives! Gosh what did you think of their trip? Luann surprised me the most, I didn’t realize she’s so slutty! #idol lol

    • Jennifer Bielman

Luann is so slutty, it’s hilarious. All those girls are crazy. I use to like Bethenny but she is getting a little annoying. Carol is the most logical.

  6. Melliane

I have some too, I like wayward Pines but I’m anxious about it because I wonder if it won’t be too much in the end.

    • Jennifer Bielman

I hate to be the barrier of bad news but Wayward Pines was just a 10 episode mini series, there is no next season.
