I LOVE my summer TV shows. Though my favs often change, I really get into a few shows every season. I wanted to share my top 6 shows I would die over if my DVR didn’t record them.
I love cooking shows. I mean an obsession kind of love. Master Chef is one of my favorites because Gordon Ramsay is the shit! He is so perfect in every way, even when he is saying ‘fuck’ for every 5th word. But he does that more on Hell’s Kitchen, which is also an awesome show. I actually met a contestant from last season’s Hell’s Kitchen, Rochelle, who was my favorite on the show. She works at our Costco. It was freaking surreal! Sucks she is not doing something more glamorous but lucky me to have met her.
Who doesn’t love watching artists paint on basically nude bodies? No one, that’s who! I freak out sometimes with how talented these artists are and how creative they can get with new challenges every week. This week’s challenge was Futuristic Steampunk.
The season finale is coming this week. Wayward Pines was only a 10 episode special which I loved because it’s short enough to not get boring but long enough to get a good story. It’s freaking creepy and a total mind-fuck.
This is a show about vampires, but not the average vamps we are use to. It feels totally legit, like this could happen to us next week. We get science, politics, and fighting which makes it feel well-rounded compared to a lot of supernatural shows out there.
I will admit it, I have watched a Bachelor or two in my day. So when I saw Unreal coming out and the premise being about the behind the scenes drama of a Bachelor type show, I was intrigued. Then I watched it and had a mind explosion all over the family room! This show is wrong in all the right ways. These people are so horrible you can’t turn away. I get truly shocked every week.
I watch all of the Real Housewives shows. It’s my huge guilty pleasure. I know, reality shows suck, but I love these. So much drama, so many fights, so many rich bitches! It’s amazing. The New York one is my favorite by far. These girls never fail to entertain. And Bethenny is back. Woohoo!
