Sometimes I just want to talk about random crap. No theme, no rules, just…whatever. That’s where I Do What I Want posts come in. This is where I…well, do whatever the hell I want. Enjoy…and be very afraid.

I’m weird. I don’t think of this as a bad thing. I like being weird. I’m unique, different. I walk my own path, have my own thoughts. Nothing wrong with that. Doesn’t stop other people from putting me down for being weird. I have thick skin though, I don’t let other peoples’ opinions bring me down. It can get hard when you are stuck being around those people for a good chunk of every week. Luckily, there are those people who support me and don’t think I’m weird in a bad way, but in a good way.

It’s funny what other people think is weird is so normal to me. I know a lot about serial killers because I’ve researched them for my writing. I like certain foods in certain ways, like I put ketchup and syrup all over my eggs, hash browns, and bacon. I like skull art. I have a few skull t-shirts and knickknacks. I like horror movies because I like being scared. I always pick the damaged or broken item in a bunch because I feel like it’s sad and lonely and no one wants it. These are normal things for me, quirks even. But they have defined me as weird and I’m reminded of that almost daily. I’m ganged up on, ostracized, and purposely set-up to fail because I’m different.

After a couple years of this, I’m pretty used to it by now. But I was randomly thinking about it today and I would like to say something to these people who think I am the bad weird. Fuck you! 😀

You know why this is awesome? Because it’s weird!

(I bought these pictures at the same time. I loved the grim reaper looking over the dead crow but it made me sad that the crow was dead. So I bought the crow eating a heart to balance it out. Now they are even. This is how a weird brain works.)

You know why this is awesome? Because it’s weird!

I own all these things (and more) because I like them. They are weird, like me.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I’m weird, therefore I’m AWESOME!

Well, I’m in the same boat of weirdness, because I like all those things you listed. lol. The courses I took on serial killers were my favorite. I arranged my whole schedule around one because I wanted to take it with a certain professor who was a well-known profiler. The first day of class he named serial killers and told people to raise their hands if they had heard of them I was the ONLY person that raised my hand! I was seriously thinking the other people were full of shit, because how could they at the very least know who Jeffrey Dahmer was. C’mon!

Oh come on! Who doesn’t know who Dahmer is? Those people are the weird ones. lol. I want to take a class on serial killers!!!!

I don’t see anything wrong with being weird – sometimes those are the most interesting people. And I’m totally weird! I on all sorts of things, like corn *shrugs* What? It’s good! I’m also fascinated by serial killers, and school shootings. They’re awful yes, but intriguing!

I agree school shootings are horrible but intriguing. My brother was at Columbine when that whole thing went down.
