Let me introduce myself: I’m Castiel (I picked that name from my favorite angel from Supernatural). I’ve owned Jennifer for almost three years now. I saw her first when I was about six months old. I don’t remember my mommy or daddy, but I remember a big dog chewing on me and this kid came and saved me. But he had a new dog so I couldn’t own him. But he knew of a girl who had lost her dog a couple years ago and he thought I could take good care of her and make her sadness go away. So that was the beginning of owning my new pet. Since then I have had a lot of adventures.
My new pet caught on really quickly. She got me cool toys and played with me often.
But my favorite toys were what my pet called boxes. They are so big and tall, I know Jennifer paid a lot of money for them.
Now that I am older, I make sure to stay extra vigilant for my new pet, protecting her from all the bad things in the world.
Except for when there are fireworks, people, car horns, bells and pretty much anything that makes a noise or moves. Then I hide.
Though sometimes hiding can be fun.
My favorite moments are when my pet makes me laugh. My name may be Castiel, but Jennifer comes up with the weirdest nicknames for me: Kitter, MeowKittyMeowMeow, Casternel, Asshole. She’s hilarious.
The best parts of the day are when I have time to just hang around, on the “forbidden areas” as Jennifer calls them. I think “No” is “Yes, please, put your dirty paws and butthole all over that area,” in pet speak.
So that’s my story. I wanted to take this time to introduce myself since my pet never made the proper introductions. My pet says she’s always been more of a dog person. But that’s why I was sent to her, to teach her the way of the cat. I’m getting there. I may eat her face off if she dies suddnely and it takes a couple days for her body to be found, but that’s only because I love her and want her with me always. Not weird at all.
PS: I have a German accent. That’s how I roll.

Castiel needs to meet my Chloe and Django. I bet they’d get into everything.
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
I bet they would. 😀
Jen
You’re awesome Castiel! It sounds like your pet is lucky to have you and vice versa.
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
She is very lucky!

Oh what a cute one there!
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
hehe, thank you.

I’m a dog person, but thought I would try rescuing a cat. Laziest thing ever. Doesn’t care about toys or cuddling too much, just wants to sit in the window and eat. Gotta love him to pieces though. He survives all these dogs even though they chase him sometimes. I guess all this food must not be making him too slow!
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
I couldn’t even imagine how Castiel would handle a dog around.

Sounds about accurate for a cat! ahah This is such a fantastic post. I used to have a cat when I was younger, but I have a dog now. She’s adorable – such a baby. I’d love another cat in the future though!

I have to admit, I am still a dog person but I do love Castiel.

So darn sweet!

I like your post about Castiel, from his POV! I have two kittens who are about a year old. Zack and Xena. In some ways they are more like dogs. They are highly attracted to water pouring from the sink. This is supposed to be something to do with both of them being Russian Blues. Weird but true.
P.S. their fur is water proof.
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
They sound adorable. Thanks for the cat facts!

I love this post!! Castiel is so freaking cute! I miss my kitty so much. 🙁 So glad she got a good human like you! 😀
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
Awww, thanks.

Hey Cas, nice to meet you. Tell your pet, Jennifer, to be nice to you always. I don’t think getting her face eaten is something she’ll like.
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
But, then she will be with me always. Don’t all cats eat faces?

Oh, Jen! I love your cat so much. She’s so fluffy and adorable. My cats here are shy and sometimes afraid that I can’t hold them. Well, we know cats are like that. 😉
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
Castiel is very picky on when I can touch him or pick him up as well.

I wonder if Jennifer knows how lucky she is. 🙂

I make sure she knows every day.

Fabulous post. I love it. I watch Supe reruns every weekday morning and Castiel had a difficult day today. Looks like your owner goes with the flow…most of the time anyway. I am a dog lover, but Castiel, almost, won me over. 🙂

hehe, thanks. I love to watch Supernatural with Castiel. I want to make him a trench coat and angel wing costume one day.

Cass is gorgeous! I love her coloring. I want to cuddle her and squish her and love her!
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
I love his coloring too. His pink nose is the best.

This is such a cute post. I can tell you really do love Castiel a lot, and it’s so good that the kid managed to save her from the dog trying to hurt her 🙁 You really did good by taking her in! I especially loved the photos here :3
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
I so didn’t want a cat either but what can you do.

Ha! So cute. I’ve always been more of a dog person as well, but I had one cat named Karma that stole my heart. I love that you did the post from that POV. Anyone that’s had a cat knows that they own you not the other way around. Thanks for sharing! I love animal pics.
Jennifer (Bad Bird Reads)
So true, cats own you, 100%
