Halloween 2012: A Feast For The Eyes

For major holidays I like to change it up a bit. I like to post a little something different, something–dare I say–non bookish. *Gasps* I know, I know. It is so very un-book-blogger of me, but I think holidays are a time for fun and relaxing. So for Halloween 2012, I have some videos for you. Each showing a side of Halloween that you may have never seen before. I will give a little intro before each one so you know what you are getting yourself into. There is something for everyone. I hope you all enjoy.

I am obsessed with Edgar Allan Poe’s poem The Raven. (Ergo my raven header.) My love for it started when I saw one of The Simpson’s Tree House of Horror Halloween Specials that spotlighted the poem. I found a video that has the audio from the show and a cool light show to accompany it. Enjoy.

Another Simpson’s video with the best part of another Tree House of Horror show where they make fun of The Shinning.

I love these Halloween Light Shows these people put on every year. They have many versions with a lot of different songs so if you like this one, check out their YouTube channel for more.

And last. Here are some cool pumpkin carvings that I thought were pretty neat. I like to be creative when I carve my pumpkins so these type of videos usually give me great ideas. I might do I post next year with all my pumpkin carving masterpieces. ๐Ÿ™‚
