I know. It’s been forever. I legit have read 3 books since my break. Not very good books. I can’t get back into reading. Any suggestions on a for sure book that will keep my attention and get me out of this funk?

I tried 2 different UF series that I loved these past months: How to Save an Undead Life (Beginner’s Guide to Necromancy, #1) by Hailey Edwards and Three Mages and a Margarita (The Guild Codex: Spellbound, #1) by Annette Marie. Loved them a lot!
Jessica @ a GREAT read
Ahh! I had been worried you quit blogging!
Hmm…I always recommend going back to an old favorite when in a funk. Or even a favorite author who you always enjoy reading!
Or if you have the seventh Charley Davidson book–as I see from your review archive you read books 1-6–I’d recommend that! Charley always delighted me and made me happy to read!

I recently finished A Spark of White Fire and it’s sooo good! I hope you like it as well. <3

Anything by Ilona Andrews. Did you read Verity by Colleen Hoover? You’ll like it.
Anne - Books of My Heart
I agree 100% with the anything by Ilona Andrews and also Melliane’s suggestion of the Hailey Edwards series. Those are both probably UF. If you are tired of a particular genre, try a different one. I love mysteries or thrillers when I tire of fantasy or romance, or I read scifi or UF. The suggestion about picking up a series you enjoyed but stopped reading is only a maybe. There might be a reason but if it is only you got busy that might work too. If I knew your top favorite reads ever it would be easier to recommend a few. I also like the JD Robb In Death books – futuristic romantic suspense – even if you have read all 43 – there’s a new one out yesterday.

I’m in your same position! I have had a rough few years and can’t seem to get into anything much new. I tend to curl up with old favourites for comfort and have really become extremely behind on things. For example I just saw yesterday that you posted to me in Twitter regarding a problem with my blog and comments… you posted it in 2014 and I just saw it yesterday. I didn’t even know I had a problem. I don’t have any suggestions for you, but just wanted to stop by and say hello and thank you. I’m sure something new will come up in books soon for you. Look forward to your reviews!

I worried you quiet this blog. You want a sure thing you’ll love to read? I would recommend Chloe Neil’s Chicagolandvampures series. I starts with Some Girls Bite, a good UF with paranormal romance element. Or if you’d like historical works you could try Endurance: Shackleton’s Extraordinary Voyage by Daniel Bryce. This one is short and has a happy ending, unless your a dog…Or you could try something different like a graphic novel or novella If graphic novel, I recommend the Monstress series Vol1-3 are out.
