Three Years of Blogging!

It’s finally here! Bad Bird Reads has been going for three years. So much has changed, so much has happened. I am so freaking excited. I actually feel like it’s been longer than three years. I still love blogging as much as I did when I first started. The friends I have made and the people I have met have been so precious to me. So many book bloggers have been supportive and there for me during my good and bad times. A lot of publishers and authors have shown me amazing books that have stuck with me for years. I feel lucky to have been on this journey and I can’t wait for three more years of book blogging bliss!

New Look and New Name!

The majority of you know that I changed my blog name and look over a month ago. Bad Bird Reads was once Reading and Writing Urban Fantasy, Paranormal, and Romance. Yeah, yeah, longest name never. But it got the point across. I love my new name and look. Ashley @ NoseGraze did an amazing job of creating the vision I had  in my head and of moving my blog over to WordPress. I talked about doing it for years, and I finally just said, “What the hell, let’s get this shit done!” I don’t regret one bit of the change. It has all worked out so great. I still have a lot to do. Like updating all my review tags and changing my blog facebook name to the new blog name. Hopefully I can get everything in perfect order by Christmas. We shall see. Either way, it was all worth it.

    the choice is a little hard i think i would pick Cade by VA Dold ( the paperback is really cheaper there than on bookdepository even with shipping fee) or i would picl all roar and no bite by celia kyle as i really loved book 1

    First, congratulations on sticking with it for THREE years!!!! That’s a huge accomplishment!!! Second, bravo on new design (glove clap on using Ashley, she rocks!) and migrating to WP! And the name change is such a huge thing! I’m debating that move, too 😐 Your blog looks great!

    And last, I have no clue what book I would pick but I’m pretty sure it would be a new adult. I’m so drawn to all those right now and you just don’t see ARCs for those anymore 🙁 Yeah, wah, wah, we’re so unlucky 😉

    Happy 3rd Jennifer. It sure flew by quick didn’t it? Mine is coming up in February and I’ll be having a blow out too. I’m curious what my stats will be by then.
    I can’t think of which book I’d choose really. If I win I’m sure I’ll be able to come up with a bunch.LOL
