Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, is all about sharing the book you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual.

You guys know I love Faith Hunter’s Jane Yellowrock series. Shadow Rites is going to be epic, I just know it. The Vampire Games has a mediocre cover, but the blurb gave me the chills.

What books did you get this week? Have you read any of the ones I got?

My Week

Still a stressful week but it’s getting better slowly. Just got back from dinner and a movie. Saw The 5th Wave. I wish I could have gotten to the book first but oh well. It was good but nothing great. I do like a good alien invasion though.

I never got into the 5th Wave as a book but I hoped it would make a decent film-it seemed like it would. I’ll see it when it comes out on dvd. Have a good weekend!

It was an okay movie. I expected more. Doesn’t really make me want to read the book.

I’m going to see T5thW tomorrow with my stepdaughter. I love the books, so I hope it’s worth watching. Enjoy your books!

Good luck with your review books, I have currently 1 ebook and 1 physical book I am reading for reviews for this week- I MUST finish…LOL Have a great week!!

I still need to read The 5th Wave as well. I remember when it was up for grabs on Netgalley. It seems like a lot of YA books are being turned into movies lately. I wonder if it will stick or die off. :\ I, personally, love seeing how they bring a book to life. Once you read the book you will have to share your thoughts on the two.

I love seeing all these book to movies, even when they are just okay. It’s still exciting and it gets people reading.

I haven’t read The 5th Wave or seen that movie. Shadow Rite and The Vampire Games look good, though.

I read 5th Wave and really liked it, but don’t feel all that inclined to watch the movie yet. Boo for stress, hope next week is better.

It’s like I feel obligated to watch movies of the books I know about. Don’t know why.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about the 5th Wave movie which is surprising since it’s adaption and the book fans normally go crazy with outrage (not that I blame them, it’s normally me too). I really need to get on-board with this bandwagon! I haven’t read the book or seen the movie yet… Oops!

LOL, I don’t know if I want to read the book because the movie was just okay.

I am wanting to see The Fifth Wave. I don’t remember hearing about the book before the movie came out saying it was based on a book. At this point, I’ll see the movie first and see if the book is worth reading from there. That Vampire Games cover reminds me of the Witch & Wizard cover by James Patterson. I DNF’d that one, so I definitely hope this one works out better for you!

Hope this week isn’t as stressful for you. 🙂 Take care!
